About This Project

Working alongside Acrylicize, our team were commissioned to deliver a landmark 1km-long mural spanning the perimeter walls of three schools in Abu Dhabi.

Inspired by ideas and input from local students, Anysurface developed a hand-painted artwork that celebrated creativity, community, and cultural identity. The design brought together vibrant colours, large-scale graphic elements, and playful visual storytelling to create an engaging environment for both students and the wider public.

The mural was produced entirely by hand using emulsion paints, brushes, and rollers, with more than 100 custom paint shades carefully mixed and applied throughout the project. Completed over six weeks by a team of eight artists, the installation transformed the schools’ exterior spaces into a striking and uplifting public artwork on an impressive scale.
